The location is central, the flat is placed close to Rialto in Calle Corrente in Sestriere Cannaregio, that is an area with many shops and boutiques of all kinds and, even though it is in the old town centre, is not a tourist area too crowded, but quiet and typically Venetian with its many nice restaurants and wine bars; there is also the Mac Donald's.
The area surrounding the flat is comfortable for every need: a supermarket is not far from it, an ATM is 100 meters far, a pharmacy is 150 meters far, Canal Grande is less than 100 meters far with the Ca' d'Oro ferryboat stop; there is also the opportunity of crossing Canal Grande with a gondola to the S. Sofia ferryboat stop which provides access to the typical fish and vegetable market in 5 minutes.
Walking along Strada Nova, you arrive at the main post office in 8 minutes, at Rialto Bridge in 10 minutes and at St. Mark in 20 minutes. The central train station is only 20 minutes from the flat walking along Strada Nova on the opposite side to the city center.
